01Problem
Accenture’s internal IT infrastructure served 800,000 users across 17 global data centers. The scale, geographic distribution, and budget pressure required a delivery model that could hold commitments across continents and time zones without degradation.
02What I did
- Led end-to-end delivery of internal IT infrastructure programs for a global user base of 800,000 across 17 data centers.
- Scaled a distributed engineering organization from 16 to 32 across six delivery locations on four continents: India, Argentina, London, Germany, Ohio, and Chicago.
- Managed a multi-million-dollar infrastructure budget, balancing capital and operational spend against enterprise priorities.
- Converted business requirements into delivery roadmaps and milestones spanning twelve time zones.
- Held release commitments across six delivery centers, each with its own infrastructure stack, staffing model, and compliance requirements.
03Result
- Infrastructure services delivered reliably to 800,000 users across 17 data centers throughout a nine-year tenure.
- Engineering organization doubled in size and geographic coverage while maintaining delivery commitments.
- $10M+ budget managed with balanced capital and operational spend.
- Delivery roadmaps spanning twelve time zones executed on schedule across six delivery centers.
